There are a lot of good sword builds posted here. Just choose one and try it out.
Dragon Slash is far and away the best elite sword skill. If you don't want to take that, you could bring Charge or a utility elite from your secondary. Hundred Blades is basically just an elite version of Cyclone Axe sans damage bonus, so yeah, stay away from that one.

DRAAAGONNNN SLAAASSHHHH!
I'm just going to post that on every single sword build that comes up. Unless you're farming, there's no reason not to run it. Just use it properly.

take off endure pain, it can be suicide in pve alot. dragon slash is good, but i prefer quivering blade because its spammable, costing only 4 adreniline while dragon slash costs 10. as for defense use "watch yourself" with soldiers defense, its a great combo.

Why isn't Dragon Slash fun? Getting owned or playing worse than you can isn't "fun", is it?
Sheep? You're a sheep for liking something because it seems cool.
I hate dragon slash, btw.

No, but it's not horrible. I assume it's a PvE build.
Replace Power Attack with Counterattack, replace Endure Pain with Watch Yourself and get a better elite such as Dragon Slash or Quivering Blade.
And plz plz unless you are elementalist, use Rebirth, not Resurrect, as rez in PvE

Sry if I have offended people, I am merely knocking the fact that many people in gw will believe one skill is the best possible one to use, merely because some other people said it was.
@ Silk weaver ~ I dont play hb because it seems cool, I play it because I can, its another option to use instead of following the crowd and playing "for great justice!" -> dragon slash -> the rest. Sry if some how I have offened you. And Im not saying dragon slash isnt fun but if everyone use the exact same skill set because people said it was the most effective, and probably backed it up with sums, then gw would be way, way ,way less fun for everyone.
Sry for the offense I've caused.

Dragon slash is good because while under in IAS you can come close to spamming it. It's +damage is very, very good, and in an enviornment such as pve where dps is preferred, Dragon Slash is king.
That's why it's good, not because lots of people say it is.

i know^^
i am just saying that if "everyone must use it coz it is best" (which im sure it is) then all warriors using a sword would be running round with the same build which would thus , it seems to me, make the game less fun.
But Wahtever

@ A Leprechaun: I'll give you credits for sticking to your word. You said if people say something about Dragon Slash being good (or in the first case, saying you are wrong - regarding dragon slash) you'd tell tell them they are sheep and learn to have fun. And so when someone said you were wrong, you did indeed call them sheep and told them to have fun. So I'm happy to see that you've kept your word.
Anyway, Healing Breeze, I find is too costly for a Warrior to use. I like using a healing signet with a defense.
I don't use Dragon Slash, nor have I ever used it. I have it, but never made it on my skill bar. Maybe I'll try it and see how it goes. I'm mainly an Axe Warrior.

To the OP:
No. Get rid of Power Attack, Endure Pain and Jaizhenju Strike. Then put in good skills. Hundred Blades is fine or better than Dragonslash in PvE, and if you position yourself well, you can definitely get some good mileage out of the skill.

Too many energy skills are an issue for a warrior, I would get rid of Power Attack and Endure Pain. Anyway each build has its use, so don't mind to play the perfect one, otherwise almost anyone will tell you to use the Dragon Slash combo...PvE is there for experimenting, try whatever you like!

If HB had a 4 second recharge or +damage, then I'd consider it. However, as it stands it's just a weaker sword version of Cyclone Axe, with Elite status no less.
HB swings twice at adjacent targets every 8 seconds.
CA swings once at adjecent targets every 4 seconds, with +11-13 damage per hit.
Now try to tell me, with a straight face, that HB is worth your elite slot. The skill just sucks. Dragon Slash will allow you to basically spam +40 damage attacks, especially if combine it with TtL or FGJ. There's just no comparison between the two.
The only time I see HB as being powerful is in combination with Orders or Conjure skills. By itself, it's just nothing spectacular. If you want an AoE warrior, Triple Chop/Cyclone Axe can do it better.

Gash
Sun and Moon Slash
IAS skill such as flail for pve
